PTA Walk-A-Thon a HUGE Success!!

AGAIN, our students, teachers and parents earned far more than last year so THANK YOU for all of your donations!!  We look forward to Frost students and teachers benefiting from every one of those dollars and are excited for them to be able to have an awesome educational experience because of your generosity.

The ice-cream party and movie and popcorn parties have all been awarded to those students who have earned them.  Teachers are busy planning fun field trips to the classes who earned $500 collectively.  The remainder of the prizes (Water Bottles, Sox, Movie Tickets, Gift Card Drawings) will be awarded once they’ve been received (by the end of October).

Our PTA appreciates the hard work and effort our PTA parents made for our students and teachers!  Thank you ALL!!

If you have questions about donations or prizes, please email Beckie @ frosteaglespta@gmail.com

A Frost First in February

We will be having our first White Ribbon Week at Frost the last week of February.  White Ribbon Week gives us a change to focus on the positive things the internet can bring, teaches about smart online choices and gives practical ways to reject harmful media messages.  Every day, through a message shared during morning announcements and lunchroom activities, kids learn an encouraging principle of behavior.  We'll have a theme for each day that will allow kids to show school spirit!  Watch for a note home in the coming weeks. For more information visit www.whiteribbonweek.org
See the Help Wanted Tab to see how you can help that week :).

Empowered for the New Year

Granite School District is providing a
FREE Parent Leadership and Empowerment Conference
on January 23rd @ Taylorsville High School.
The conference provides workshops on various topics such as bullying, body image, school testing/assessment, help with Go Math! and much, much more!!  The workshops are very insightful and each leaves you feeling empowered as a parent, educator or community member.  Lunch is also free and well worth it!  You do need to register to attend and can do so on Granite School District's website.

The Elf is Back on the Shelf

Christmas has come and gone, as has Elf Shelf @ Robert Frost.  THANK YOU to the few volunteers that donated countless hours, sweat, tears and laughter to Frost families by making Elf Shelf happen.  We've got some great ways to make it run smoothly and efficiently for next year if it's something our students, parents, staff and PTA feel would be a benefit.

Our Eagles Scare Away Drugs!

Red Ribbon Week has been awesome for our Frost Eagle students and teachers!  They have all shown their commitment to be drug free with their red from head to toe, crazy hair, crazy socks and
jammies :).  Tomorrow the school will show that drugs are scary by wearing costumes.  Pam Musselman, our Red Ribbon Week Chair has done an excellent job of having fun activities planned throughout the week.  We are so grateful for Pam's time, effort and generous donations that make Red Ribbon Week the awesome week it is!!
